When you use 2D Multiverse, we may collect: account information (email, username, avatar selection), gameplay data (XP, verses visited, inventory, achievements), device and browser information for performance optimization, and optional wallet addresses if you connect a Phantom wallet.
During the current early access phase, most user data is stored locally in your browser's localStorage. This data does not leave your device unless you explicitly connect to backend services. You can clear this data at any time through your browser settings or the in-app Settings page.
We use collected data to: provide and improve the Platform, personalize your experience, process transactions, communicate updates and announcements, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with: service providers who help operate the Platform (hosting, payments, analytics), law enforcement when required by law, and other users only when you choose to share (public profile, chat messages, marketplace listings).
We may use essential cookies for authentication and basic analytics to understand how the Platform is used. We do not use third-party advertising trackers.
If you connect a wallet, your public wallet address may be visible to other users. We never have access to your private keys. Blockchain transactions are public by nature and cannot be deleted.
We retain account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us. Some data may be retained as required by law.
The Platform is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we learn we have collected such data, we will delete it promptly.
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data. However, no system is perfectly secure. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and wallet private keys safe.
